S-View 1.8 is referred to as CAD viewer. Out of most common CAD formats – AutoCAD DWG, DGN, DXF, DWF – DXF and DWF format file can be directly viewed using S-View. The other two AutoCAD formats DWG, DGN, can be converted into DXF format and thus viewed on S-View.

Terms Palm, Palm handheld, PDA, Pocket computer often used interchangeably. S-View 1.8 Palm CAD viewer designed to work on devices running Palm OS. Most commonly those devices referred as Palm handhelds or simply Palms.
