S-View Installation

Install S-View on Desktop (PC):

Download on your PC and run installation file sv_setup.exe. During the installation you will be prompted to read and accept the end user license agreement (EULA).

If you already have S-View installed on your PC, the newer S-View version can be installed on top of your current S-View version. License key, if one was acquired for earlier version, will stay valid for the newer one.

For S-View clean uninstall go to Windows Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs > Remove S-View.

Install S-View on Palm:

To complete S-View installation please install Palm application "sview.prc" to your Palm device. This file is located in subdirectory "Palm" of your installation directory (e.g. "C:\Program Files\S-View\Palm").

Here are several ways you can install this file to you Palm device:

1. You can do it via HotSync.
2. You can just copy this file to your memory card to the "\Palm\launcher" directory. It is possible to run the S-View application directly from the memory card.
3. You can go with option 2. At a later time you can copy sview.prc file from the memory card to your device using Palm menu options.

IMPORTANT (Only for Tungsten 3 model): Only if you have Tungsten 3 model you have to install 2 prc file from the directory Tungsten3_DIA_Compatibility to enable work with resizable screen area. You must install both prc files at the same time; installing them separately may force a hard reset.

Uninstall S-View on Palm:

To uninstall cleanly S-View from the Palm you have to clean cache before deleting sview.prc. "Clean cache" command is available from S-View "File" submenu. If you delete S-View without calling clean cache, "SVData" cache file is left on the device and can be deleted only after soft reset.
