S-View CAD Viewer on PC

S-View on PC package includes two Windows based applications - sview.exe the other one is sviewcmd.exe.

The first one, sview.exe, is a GUI application. That is it has window, menu, toolbars etc. The application can convert a single file or list of selected files into Palm compatible pdb format. Also it is a full-scale dxf and dwf files viewer. So you can preview dxf and dwf files on your desktop before converting them into the pdb format.

The second application, sviewcmd.exe, is a command line conversion utility. One can run it on the Windows command shell with parameter "name of the file to convert" or "directory name where files to convert are located" or "name of the file containing names of files to convert".

Both applications use conversion settings stored in the sview.ini file. The settings specify destination folder for converted files, file overwrite policy and page conversion mode. They can be changed through "Conversion Settings" dialog inside sview application or directly using any simple text editor.
